Code of Conduct for Spectators
- Remember that children play Junior cricket for their own fun. They are not there to entertain you and are not miniature pro-athletes,
- Be on your best behaviour. Don’t use bad language, yell at or harass players, coaches and umpires,
- Applaud good play by your own team and the visiting team,
- Show respect for you team’s opponents. Without them there would be no games,
- Never ridicule or scold a Junior for making a mistake during a game,
- Condemn the use of violence in all forms,
- Respect the umpire’s decision,
- Encourage Juniors always to play according to the rules, and condemn deliberate breaches,
- Recognise and appreciate the value and importance or volunteer coaches and officials
